United States, Scott #5666 used(o), 2022, American Landmarks Series Parcel Stamp, stamp is dedicated to the Monument Valley in southern Utah, literally on the Utah-Arizona border; the area is a region of the Colorado River plateau, characterized by a cluster of sandstone buttes, some reaching heights of 1,000 feet; through the effect of the natural forces of wind and water that eroded the land and spent the last 50 million years cutting into and peeling away at the surface of the plateau; this simple wearing down of altering layers of soft and hard rock slowly revealed the lasting 'hard rock' buttes that we see today, the most famous butte formations are located in the Oljato-Monument Valley, a sacred tribal area that lies within the territory of the Navajo Nation Reservation, $8.95, offset lithography printed by Ashton Potter USA (APU), non-water soluble self-adhesive panes, serpentine die cut simulated 10¾x10½ perforations, ‘USPS’ in black-inked microprint just above the green grass tuft on the lower left side, multicolored, Scott 2025 Catalog Value: $8.00, nicely centered, large, light, three-quarter circular, black-inked, double-rimmed, half counter-clockwise turned, hollowed-out and broken-up, socked-on-the-nose cancellation with partial mailing details, left of center over the middle of the stamp, however, the lightness of the cancel and its broken-up and hollowed-out effects leave the main image remarkably clear, good perforations, the stamp was soaked from the mailing envelope using the Bestine solvent and placed on a piece of black trimmed card stock for an attractive and uniform album mounting; centering, mounting, and image clear cancel warrants a selling price premium. This is not a 'bait-and-switch;' the stamp you see will be the one you receive.
Please review my terms of sale. If you are not ordering from the United States, there is a $US1.55 additional postage expense that needs to be added to the price of the stamp. If you are ordering from the United States, there is only a $US0.68 added postage expense. Also, if you make additional purchases from my offerings, they can all go in one mailing at no extra shipping expense for the added purchases. I will send the purchase by US first class mail, since the relatively low value of the stamp does not warrant signature or tracking mail. Hence the buyer assumes risk of loss or non-delivery. I will keep a scan of my mailing to verify that the correct mailing address was used. If not satisfied, return the stamp to me at your own expense, and I will refund the cost, but not my postage to you. If the stamp is not as described, I will refund the cost and reimburse you for postage both ways.
