As the third release in this exciting series, representing ancient Norse mythology, the goddess of the dead and the queen of the underworld are beautifully depicted on this high relief coin.
Born with bones on one side of the face and body naked, Hel is one of the most terrible goddesses. It is described as a head-like, half-dead and half-dead, and is often portrayed with the World Tree with the dragon Nidhug, who lives at the base of the tree.

Shaken with high relief and has an antique finish that adds aesthetic appeal when holding and helps to emphasize the design.
Obverse: shows the right profile of Queen Elizabeth II, as well as the year and face value.
Reverse: The reverse side of the coin depicts Hel, sitting cross-legged under the first World Tree with Nidhug wrapped around the base of the tree. Some tree roots depict the faces of lost souls, over which she observes. The design also has the inscription HEL and the traditional coin sign "P" of the Mint of Perth.
