Rare Specimen banknote of 1000 Livres ND(1912) AH1331, P. 107s, RS-6-4, with arabic specimen perforation and with zero serial numbers, light stain at upper border, bright original colors, the label by PCGS is wrong, describing the wrong type of note but correct condition, condition: PCGS graded 53 aUNC. This note is part of a collection from 1918 found in private hands around 2016 in Australia. The collection was found in an original album of that time with the title "The collection specimen notes of all notes of the State Ministry of Finance", probably in posession of Huseyin Cahid, the Vice-President of the Ottoman Parliament at that time. According to the list included in the album the following numbers of notes were printed of these types: 50,000 livres – 40; 1,000 livres – 5,210; 500 livres – 25,670; 100 livres – 243,250; 50 livres – 362,100; 25 livres – 728,200; 10 livres – 2,024,675; 5 livres – 5,347,000; 2-1/2 livres – 4,036,000; 1 livre – 46,050,000; 1/2 livre – 28,492,400; 1/4 livre – 9,970,000; 20 piastres – 21,875,000; 5 piastres – 73,400,000. This finding marks one of the most important ones in the banknote collectors market.
