"E.C. BEETEM & SON" LABELS 1913-14 collection of advert labels, accompanied by some write up and presented in a stockbook. We see 1913 "Weaving" in five different imperforate sheets of 9 plus four covers each bearing a label, with two labels being tied by the postmark, 1914 "New Raglin Mills" large imperf essay (rejected) affixed to envelope with note "First essay - stamp is entirely too big" and signed Beetem, 1914 smaller design in perforated proof sheet of 4 inscribed "All details correct, C.G.B." (Charles Gilbert Beetem), perf & part imperf (some perf splitting) panes of 4 and a single tied to cover, also a few other Beetem related labels - complete scans on website. The business was established in 1875 and made carpets & rugs which were sold throughout the USA, it became E.C. Beetem & Son in 1906 (11 panes/items + 6 covers).
