To welcome in 2015, the year of the sheep, Chunghwa Post is once again issuing a set of two stamps featuring the upcoming year’s animal sign. This set of stamps, sharing the same design concept of last year’s issue, uses gold and pastel colors to illustrate the animals’ energy and vigor. These auspicious sheep, looking happy and contented, are depicted either in a standing or sitting position against a backdrop of plum blossoms and pink. The designs follow:
1) NT$3.5 stamp: The image of a sheep stepping gentle pace welcomes the spring and brings good tidings with pleasure.
2) NT$13 stamp: The image of a sheep of leisure in sitting position implies “everything having gone as one had wished.”
