1840 TO 1900 FABULOUS VICTORIAN COLLECTION! A chiefly used collection on leaves with low levels of duplication chiefly showing the wide range of different plate numbers. Amongst so much more we note the 1840 1d blacks (7, three or four margins each), small scatterings of line engraved includes mint 1858-79 1d red 'plates', also 1870 ½d 'bantams' complete including scarce plate 9, 1870 1½d 'shields' incl unused, 1847-54 embossed cut square set; Surface Prints begin with the 1855-57 4d Wmk Small Garter (2, SG 62 & 62a), Wmk Medium Garter SG 63 plus much else to the 1s greens SG 71/3 (6, incl thick paper, another on Trans-Atlantic large piece with transit markings), 1862-64 small letters issue to 9d bistres / straws (4) & 1s greens (5), 1865-73 Wmk Emblems to 1s greens (2), 1867-80 Wmk Spray to 9d straws (3), 10d browns (5), 1s greens (14) & 2s blues (3), 1872-73 6d's range incl mint, 6d grey etc, 1867-83 5s roses (3), 1873-80 large coloured letters including the 1s orange- brown SG 151, 4d vermilions (3) & 4d sage- greens (5), 8d oranges (8) amongst so much else, 1880-83 Wmk Imperial Crown to 1s orange- browns (4), 1880-81 to 5d indigos (6), 1883-84 high values with 2s6d (13), 5s (11) & 10s (9), 1883-84 lilac & green with good colours to 1s dull greens (2), 1887-00 "Jubilee" issue wonderful collection with many better & lovely stamps, finally the 1891 £1 greens (2).
