1909, 4c. dull purple/carmine, two copies on cover from "BANDAR MAHARANI MUAR" (circular postmark with crown in centre), c.d.s "MUAR 29 JA 1909" alongside, to Ramachendrapuram/India with Singapore transit 30.1.1909, Indian transit 8.2.09 and arrival mark 10.2.09 on reverse, slight postal wear as to be expected. The city of Muar was declared the Royal City of Johor by Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar.
Value Add Taxes (19%) will be added to the hammer price and the buyers premium.

In april 2005 the idea to build a place where collectors, customers and investors from all over the world could meet, was realized.
Since that time both, the Mail Order House and Auction House Gärtner, have been united on 2.700 m2 in the easy accessible building owned by Christoph Gärtner.
Generous viewing and storage rooms, a private auction hall, enough parking space and an underground car park are available.
