- Né le 18 janvier 1952, Patrick Lesueur commence une carrière de décorateur étalagiste au Bon Marché de Paris, qui s'avère plus courte que prévue. En 1971, Patrick présente ses premiers travaux à René Goscinny (dessins, ébauches de BD), qui l'intègre dans l'équipe du désormais mythique journal Pilote. Lesueur réalise une série de courts récits, certains avec JP Dionnet, d'autres sur ses propres scénarii. Création avec Jean Solé de la rubrique illustrée. En écoutant des images. réalisation avec Pierre Christin, du premier album, "En attendant le printemps" (aujourd'hui un collector !), suivi avec Laurence Harlé de "Reste-t-il du miel pour le thé ?", les 2 titres dans la collection Pilote. Rencontre avec Régis Franc, et création des personnages Gontrand et Julot deux coureurs automobiles des années vingt. Collaboration avec l'historien du cinéma Claude Jean-Philippe pour la biographie illustrée d'acteurs de cinéma, dans la collection portraits Souvenirs chez dargaud Éditeur. En 1992, il crée avec Jean-Paul Midant le personnage de Douglas Dunkerk, et de sa compagne Miss Andalucia, respectivement désigner élégant, et thérapeute attachante, dans cette bonne cité de Sharkville. Collectionneur et historien de l'automobile américaine, journaliste au magazine Automobiles Classiques, Nitro, Rétro-Hebdo, membre du Road Race Lincoln Register, club très pointu, regroupant les adorateurs des automobiles Lincoln de 1952 à 1957. Ex-capitaine du légendaire Mickson BD Football Club, il occupe actuellement (avec fierté) le poste défensif (voir offensif !).
