Interesting type of the republic emission with the allegory of Seated Hispania left holding sprig. The coin was struck using the original die of Obv. of silver 1 peseta 1933 (see delcampe.net/en_GB/collectables/item/1177201138.html). During war the mint was evacuated to Castellon (Valencia), but the new engravers were not skillful. As the result the design of the Reverse is very simple being the Obverse on essentially higher artistic level. Variety with circle of round (not squared) dots on Reverse.
